NFL matchup tools: radar, Man vs Zone, Opportunity Share, injury report, weather

What each NFL player-page matchup tool shows and where to find it on web and in the app.

Where are they?

Open any NFL player from Explore, from Player breakdown in the NFL menu on web, or by tapping a player in the app. The tools are in the Matchup and Share tabs.

Matchup radar

The player and the opposing defense on one chart, stat by stat. Green shading means the player sits above the defense on that stat; red means the defense does. Fantasy markets are included, by position.

Man vs Zone

For non-QBs: how a player produces against man and zone coverage, next to how often the opponent plays each. You'll see a Separation Score for the player and a Frequency Rank for how often the defense uses that coverage.

Opportunity Share

Called Target Share in the app. How much of his team's work a player gets: targets, red zone and end zone targets, first-read targets, carries, routes and rushing.

Game Weather and injury report

Game Weather shows the conditions for NFL and MLB. The Dome / Outdoors and Neutral filters are NFL only; MLB shows the weather and a Ballpark label instead.

The official NFL injury report shows each day's practice status (DNP, LP, FP) and the game status: Out, Doubtful, Questionable, Probable, IR or Suspended. It's on web only, including mobile web: under Game Weather on desktop, in the Matchup tab on phones.

Teammates and Similar

See how a player's numbers change with or without a teammate (who needs at least 2 missed games to show up), and how similar players have done in Similar.

Free vs Premium

These tools need Premium. Free accounts get them on a few rotating free preview players each week, all from one upcoming game. The weekly NFL cheat sheet stays free for everyone.
