Step 1: Pick a League
PropsMadness covers NBA, WNBA, NFL and MLB. On the web, each league has its own header menu:
Player breakdown - one player, game by game
Explore - every player on the slate in one sortable table
Cheat sheet - the weekly NFL matchup cheat sheet (NFL only)
Leagues switch off in the off-season and return when markets post.
In the app, the tab bar has Explore (home), Favorites, Bets and Search. Tap a player for their game-by-game view.
Step 2: Find a Player
The left sidebar (bottom panel on mobile) lists today's games and players:
Browse by game - tap any player in a matchup
Search by name - use the search bar, or Cmd+K on the web across leagues
Scan the whole slate - open Explore for every line, odds and hit rate in one table and build a shortlist
Step 3: Read the Dashboard
Pick a player and you'll see:
Odds Badge - the line and Over/Under price from your sportsbook. Click it to compare books; pick a Primary Book plus up to 15 books in total, out of 40+.
Hit Rate - how often the player went over the current line (or the line shown on the graph)
Graph - game-by-game results and averages for that market. Averages follow your filters and compare filtered games to the full dataset.
Prop Tabs - switch markets (e.g. Points, Assists, Rebounds, 3PM for basketball)
Step 4: Apply Filters
Filters narrow the data:
Last N Games - recent form
Home/Away - how location affects performance
Teammates - how the player does with or without specific teammates
Advanced Filters - overlay stats like Usage Rate, Minutes or Opponent Defensive Ranking on the graph (the blue line)
The graph and averages update as you filter.
Step 5: More Tools by League
Below the graph, for NBA and WNBA:
Play Types - how the player scores (isolation, pick & roll, catch & shoot, etc.)
Shot Zones - where on the court they score from
Similar Players - how similar players did against this opponent
Injury Report - who's in, who's out, and how it affects performance
Other leagues:
NFL - the Matchup tab (matchup radar, Man vs Zone, target zones, Game Weather), Opportunity Share, Similar Players and teammates
MLB - Matchup Analyzer (pitcher vs batter), Pitch Mix, Lineup & Bullpen, Ballpark & weather and Similar Players
Step 6: Compare Odds
Click the odds badge on any player to see lines and prices from every supported sportsbook, and pick your sportsbooks to set a Primary Book.
Step 7: Track Your Bets
Tap the + next to an Over or Under price to save that line at the current price. Bets live in My Bets on the web (profile menu) and the Bets tab in the app, with results, ROI and closing line value. Free with a sign-in. More in How to track a bet in My Bets and Tracking bets in My Bets.
