What's New in PropsMadness: Late October 2026

The second half of October brings the biggest addition to PropsMadness this season: bet tracking. Track any prop you like in two clicks, let PropsMadness grade it off the final box score, and watch your record, profit and closing line value build up on one page. It's free with an account, on the web and in the app.

Every NBA, WNBA and NFL prop in Explore now carries a Matchup Grade too. On top of that, NBA is live, there's a new site-wide menu, and Explore picked up a round of upgrades.

Here is everything that's new.

Bet tracking

Most bettors have a rough idea of how they're doing. Very few know. Bet tracking turns every pick into a record you can learn from: what you bet, at what price, how it closed, and how it landed.

Track a bet in two clicks

Hit the + next to any Over or Under price, either in Explore or on a player page header, and the Track bet slip opens with the line, odds and book already filled in.

  • Pick your stake: in units or dollars, up to 10 units on a single bet
  • Bet to risk or bet to win: set your default under Bet settings, along with your default stake
  • Alt lines count: drag the line on a player page to an alternate number and track that instead
  • Sportsbooks and pick'em apps: track at a regular book's price, or a PrizePicks or Underdog fantasy score pick

A toast confirms the bet with a link to your list. Changed your mind? You have five minutes to take it back, or until the game starts if that comes first. The row counts the window down for you. After that, the bet is part of your record.

Nothing here is a wager. PropsMadness takes no money and places nothing with a book: bets are simulated, stakes are virtual units, and every bet settles automatically from the final box score.

Track a bet straight from Explore, then find it in My Bets

Your record, in one place

Everything you track lands in My Bets, where pending bets sit up top and settled ones build your history.

  • Net profit and ROI: for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, all time, or any custom range
  • At a glance: your record and win rate, best day, longest streak, and biggest hit
  • Profit chart and calendar: cumulative profit over time, plus a day, week or month calendar you can switch between P&L, ROI and W–L
  • Open bets: every pending bet with its current price next to the price you tracked, plus your total at risk and to win
  • Filters: narrow your history by result, league or book

Are you beating the close?

Winning a bet can be luck. Getting a better price than the market closes at is skill, and it's the best early sign that your process works. Every bet you track is compared with the price the same side closed at when the game started.

My Bets shows your average closing line value and how often you beat the close, so you can tell a hot streak from a real edge long before the sample is big enough to prove it.

Find your strongest splits

Once you have 10 settled bets, Your strongest splits shows where you win most: your best market or league, your best side (overs or unders), and your best timing. Open All splits for the full breakdown and find out whether that hunch about early-week overs holds up.

Share your run

Tap the share icon next to Net profit to turn your performance or your calendar into a card for the group chat. Open bets have their own share button too.

Matchup Grade for NBA, WNBA and NFL

Every prop in Explore now carries a Matchup Grade: one letter, from A+ (soft spot) to F (tough spot), that tells you how the player's upcoming matchup sets up for that exact market.

The grade isn't a generic defense ranking. Each market gets its own formula, built from the opposing defense numbers that matter most for it. A quarterback's passing yards grade, for example, weighs passing yards allowed to the position, the defense's yards per pass, how often teams throw against it, and how many dropbacks it faces. A rushing grade looks at rushing yards and yards per carry allowed instead.

  • One letter per prop: A+ to F in the new Matchup column, on NBA, WNBA and NFL props
  • Sort by it: put the softest matchups of the day at the top
  • Filter by it: set a range like B+ or better, or start from a preset
  • Free to see: the grade shows on every prop, including the ones locked on the free plan
Filter Explore down to the props with a B+ matchup or better

NBA is live

The NBA season is underway, and PropsMadness is ready for it. NBA is fully enabled across the web and the app, with its own landing page, and it's now the league you land on when you open PropsMadness. Explore also works for every league now.

Also new

  • One menu on every page. A new league menu and a single header across the whole site, so every league and tool is one click away.

  • See more before you upgrade. On the free plan, locked props in Explore now show their lines and odds, so you can see what's there before going Pro.

  • NFL Dome and Outdoors filters. Split any NFL player's games by Dome or Outdoors, or neutral-site games, on the player page. Retractable roofs count as Dome.

  • Search every league. Player search now covers every league at once, on the web (Cmd+K) and in the app.

  • New share card tabs. NFL player share cards now include Routes and Rushing tabs.

  • More matchup radar. The NFL matchup radar adds spokes for Touchdowns, Pass TDs and Pass + Rush Yards.

Frequently asked questions

Is bet tracking free?

Yes. Bet tracking is free on every plan. You only need an account, so we can keep your record for you.

Does PropsMadness place bets or connect to my sportsbook?

No. PropsMadness is a tracking tool, not a sportsbook. Nothing you log is a real wager and no money is at stake. Stakes are counted in virtual units and every bet is graded off the final box score.

Can I track parlays?

Not yet. Bet tracking covers single props for now. To price out a parlay, use the free parlay calculator.

Can I delete a bet or reset my history?

You can take a bet back within five minutes of tracking it, or until the game starts if that comes first. After that it stays in your record, and there is no way to wipe your history. A ledger you can clear teaches you nothing.

What does the Matchup Grade measure?

How well the player's upcoming matchup sets up for that specific prop, from A+ (soft spot) to F (tough spot). Each market has its own formula built from the opposing defense's numbers for that stat, so a player can have an A for rebounds and a C for points in the same game.

What is CLV?

Closing line value compares the odds you tracked at with the odds the same side closed at when the game started. A positive CLV means the market moved toward your side after you tracked it. It says nothing about whether the bet won, but over time it's one of the best signs of a real edge.
