How to use the parlay calculator
- Pick the odds format your sportsbook shows: American (-110), decimal (1.91) or fractional (10/11).
- Enter your stake in dollars, or switch to units if you size bets as a share of your bankroll.
- Type the price of each leg. Add legs as you need them, up to 12.
- If a leg pushed or was voided, press Push. It counts as 1.00, so the rest of the parlay pays at the reduced odds.
- Read your parlay odds, profit, total payout and implied probability as you type.
Switching formats converts the prices you already entered instead of clearing them, so you can paste a line in one format and read it in another.
Parlay odds formula
A parlay multiplies the decimal odds of every leg:
parlay decimal = leg 1 × leg 2 × … × leg n
payout = stake × parlay decimal
profit = payout − stakeWorked example: three legs at -110. Each -110 leg is 1 + 100/110 = 1.9091 in decimal. Multiply them: 1.9091 × 1.9091 × 1.9091 = 6.958. Converting back, (6.958 − 1) × 100 gives +596: about +597, the figure you get by rounding each leg to 1.91 before multiplying (6.968). A $100 bet pays $695.79 in total.
Implied probability is 1 ÷ parlay decimal. For the three-leg ticket that is 1 ÷ 6.958 = 14.37%: the hit rate you need just to break even.
True parlay odds vs. what books pay
If every leg were a true coin flip, a fair parlay would double its payout with each leg. At the standard -110 price the book keeps a slice of every leg, and that slice compounds.
| Legs | True odds (50/50 legs) | Payout at -110 per leg | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +100 | -110 | 4.5% |
| 2 | +300 | +264 | 8.9% |
| 3 | +700 | +596 | 13.0% |
| 4 | +1500 | +1228 | 17.0% |
| 5 | +3100 | +2436 | 20.8% |
| 6 | +6300 | +4741 | 24.4% |
| 7 | +12700 | +9142 | 27.8% |
| 8 | +25500 | +17545 | 31.1% |
| 9 | +51100 | +33585 | 34.2% |
| 10 | +102300 | +64208 | 37.2% |
Same-game parlays
This calculator assumes every leg is independent. Legs in a same-game parlay are correlated — a quarterback’s passing yards and his receiver’s receiving yards tend to rise together — so sportsbooks don’t just multiply the prices. They apply their own correlation adjustment, usually paying less than the multiplied odds. Treat the result here as an upper bound for a same-game parlay, and trust the price your book quotes.
Parlay calculator FAQ
Convert every leg to decimal odds and multiply them together. The product is the parlay’s decimal price; multiply it by your stake for the total payout, and subtract the stake for the profit.
At most sportsbooks a pushed or voided leg is removed from the parlay, which is the same as pricing it at 1.00. The rest of the ticket still has to win, and it pays at the reduced odds. If every leg pushes, your stake is returned.
Two -110 legs combine to about +264. A $100 bet returns $364.46 in total: $264.46 profit plus your $100 stake.
Three -110 legs pay about +596, or +597 if each leg is rounded to 1.91 before multiplying. A fair price for three coin flips would be +700, which is where the sportsbook’s edge shows up.
It is 1 divided by the parlay’s decimal odds. It tells you how often the ticket must hit to break even at that price, including the sportsbook’s margin on every leg.
Only as a rough guide. Legs in a same-game parlay are correlated, so sportsbooks do not simply multiply their prices; they apply their own correlation adjustment. Use the price your book quotes for the actual payout.
Yes. The calculator is free to use with no account or sign-up, on desktop and mobile. Enter your stake in dollars or units and every result updates as you type.
Up to 12. Every added leg multiplies the sportsbook’s margin, so long parlays pay far less than their true odds.
